our facilities
Deer Run offers access to 110 acres consisting of woodlands, meadows, marshes and streams, located in the foothills of the Catskill and Shawnagunk Mountains. All camp buildings have been renovated and modernized within the past six years, and a new Arts & Sciences building was built in 2001. There are two main dormitories, one for boys and the other for girls. Rooms accommodate 4-8 campers.
The large main lodge houses one of the dormitories, the camp infirmary, a large meeting room, a mini-theater seating 45 campers, a modern kitchen and a spacious dining area. All camp programs are designed to develop relational and interpersonal skills, as well as motivation and discipline. Camp Deer Run is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the New York State Department of Health.
